TERI H. SCIAVICCO, RN, LNC Teri was born in Miami, Florida. She attended Florida State University and later became a licensed property and casualty insurance agent, specializing in medical malpractice insurance. Following a brief time home with her small children, she went back to school and received her degree as a Registered Nurse, graduating with honors. Her clinical nursing experience includes patient care in the emergent and urgent care settings as well as outpatient overnight surgery, medical case management, and recovery of cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology procedures. Teri was also a member and active participant in the local chapter of American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants in Miami, Florida. She relocated to the Atlanta area in 2002.
CHRISTINE R. BYLER, RN*, BSN, LNC
BEVERLY M. DUDLEY, B.S., M.S. Beverly M. Dudley was born in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia and received a Bachelors of Science, cum laude, in 1999. She attended Central Michigan University in Atlanta, Georgia and received an M.S. in 2000. Ms. Dudley has extensive work experience in Hospital Administration as a paraprofessional, and has worked in the private law firm environment since December 2000.
MURIEL A. MELLEMA Ms. Mellema was born in Gary, Indiana. She earned an Associates Degree from The Sawyer College in Sacramento, California. She has also attended the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland and Georgia State University in Atlanta. She received her paralegal certificate from the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta in 1999. Ms. Mellema was associated with the Emory University System of Healthcare for 20 years before entering the private law firm environment. She has extensive experience in Hospital Administration and Risk Management. CHRISTY C. SLOAT Christy was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She earned an Associates Degree from Bryant & Stratton, and then spent the next several years managing medical practices in Ohio. She relocated to Atlanta in 1993, and continued working in the medical field for the next five years. In 2000 she went back to school and received her Paralegal Certification from The National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta. Christy has worked in the private law firm environment since 1999. |
